Herbs have a long history of documented use tracing back to Ancient Egypt, Ancient China and to the beginning of Ayurveda science in India. Herbal tea is not actually tea, because it is not made from the Camellia Sinensis plant. Instead, other common names include infusion and tisane. Herbal teas can be made from any combination of flowers, leaves, seeds, roots, citrus or berry fruits, herbs and spices - which is why the number of unique blends available is virtually limitless. Chamomile, Peppermint, Ginger and Hibiscus are some of the most popular ingredients used today.

Peppermint is thought to have originated in Northern Africa and the Mediterranean. This aromatic blend starts with peppermint leaves expertly selected from Europe, Egypt and North America and combines them with the rich, creamy flavour of vanilla to craft a velvety smooth tea that is sure to awaken all you senses.

[Suggestions] Hot Tea: Pour freshly boiled water over tea bag and allow brewing for 4 minutes depending on your desired strength. Enjoy sweetened or plain –the choice is yours.
Refreshing Iced Tea: To make 1 Quart of Iced Tea, use 4 tea bags, brew as suggested above using 4 cups of water. Allow to cool then serve over ice.
*We do not recommend using a microwave to boil your cup of water because over-boiling will cause oxygen to be reduced, making the tea taste flat.
